MeetAdvance
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to MeetAdvance, a service provided by Sandiver Publishing LLC (“Sandiver,” “MeetAdvance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing MeetAdvance, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use MeetAdvance for an organization, team, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
1. Eligibility and authorized accounts
MeetAdvance is intended for approved governing-body personnel, meet operators, coaches, team administrators, awards staff, and other authorized adults. The service does not offer public self-registration. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, use only your assigned role and scope, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may not share an account or access an organization, team, meet, or record for which you lack permission.
2. Service purpose
MeetAdvance supports post-result workflows such as qualifier review, advancement decisions, itemized fee tracking, manual payment-status records, protest filing, and award pickup. MeetAdvance does not replace an organization’s official timing, scoring, results, eligibility, registration, accounting, or governing-body system of record unless expressly agreed in writing.
3. Official decisions and records
Participating organizations remain responsible for official results, advancement rules, deadlines, fees, eligibility, protest decisions, awards, refunds, and record retention. Users must verify consequential decisions against the applicable organization’s official rules and records. If MeetAdvance information conflicts with an official governing-body determination, the official determination controls.
4. Payments and fees
The current mobile application records advancement charges and the status of manual or offline payments. It does not collect or store payment-card numbers. Actual payment acceptance, refunds, disputes, waivers, and reconciliation remain subject to the participating organization’s policies and any applicable service agreement. A displayed payment status is an administrative record and is not, by itself, a bank or card-network receipt.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- submit false or misleading athlete, result, payment, protest, or award information;
- circumvent authentication, role restrictions, meet scope, rate limits, or security controls;
- scan, reuse, forge, disclose, or manipulate award codes without authorization;
- upload malicious code or interfere with the service or another user;
- extract, scrape, sell, or disclose information except as authorized by the responsible organization and applicable law;
- reverse engineer or copy the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law; or
- use MeetAdvance in a way that violates law, governing-body rules, contractual obligations, or the rights of another person.
6. Organization and user responsibilities
Organizations and authorized users are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of information they provide, including youth-athlete information; obtaining required notices, permissions, and consents; assigning and removing access promptly; maintaining official source records; and reviewing transactions before deadlines. Users must use synthetic rather than real personal information for store-review or training demonstrations unless authorized otherwise.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep MeetAdvance reliable, but the service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, network disruptions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue functionality. Participating organizations should maintain reasonable operational alternatives for time-sensitive meet workflows.
8. Intellectual property
MeetAdvance, its software, branding, design, and original content are owned by Sandiver or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service for authorized purposes. Organizations retain rights in their own records, subject to the permissions needed for us to operate the service.
9. Suspension and termination
We or the responsible organization may suspend or terminate access when an account is inactive, unauthorized, compromised, used in violation of these Terms, or no longer associated with an approved role. Users may request account deletion through the Data Deletion Request page. Certain organization-controlled or legally required records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETADVANCE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT EVERY THIRD-PARTY OR ORGANIZATION-SUPPLIED RECORD WILL BE ACCURATE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANDIVER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, ENTRIES, AWARDS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not governed by a separate written agreement will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Dallas County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Material changes will receive additional notice when required.
